A great place with a bit of America in Prague. We had Chicken Wings, fried corn, Burgers, César Salad and Burnt Ends and returned full and happy from our lunch there. Staff was very welcoming and even gave us tips where they eat in Prague. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Kč 400–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Route54 is the real deal, and I say that as someone who takes her burgers very seriously. I’ve been to my share of American-style diners across Europe, and most of them get the aesthetic right but completely miss the soul. Route54 in Karlín? They nailed both. Let’s start with the Oklahoma smash burger. That perfectly seared patty, those caramelized onions practically melting into the cheese, that glossy brioche bun holding it all together with quiet confidence. It tasted like someone actually cared about every single layer. The kind of burger that makes you slow down and pay attention instead of just eating. The sweet potato fries were genuinely addictive. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, with that subtle sweetness that makes you want to keep going even when you know you should stop. And then, the cereal milk ice cream. I don’t know who came up with this but they deserve a standing ovation. Nostalgic, creative, and absolutely delicious. It felt like a proper ending to a proper meal. Beyond the food, the place is spotless. Clean kitchen vibes you can feel even from your table, beautiful presentation, and a diner atmosphere that hits that sweet spot between retro Americana and genuinely cool. If you grew up watching American movies and fantasizing about diners with checkered floors and neon signs, this is your place, just with better execution. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being over the top. You could tell the staff actually enjoyed being there. Route54 is a rare find. Don’t sleep on it.
