Royal Biryani House — I’ll admit, my fault for not reading the reviews first! I learned that most of the Indian food I’m used to is North Indian, while this is South Indian. I also didn’t realize biryani is more common in Southern India or that the food tends to be significantly spicier. I ordered a chicken dish at medium spice because I have a pretty high spice tolerance, but it was way too spicy for me to eat. The staff was very nice and brought me a tikka masala instead, which I enjoyed much more. I always try to be honest in my reviews. The food took quite a while to arrive even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, and the paper plates, bamboo-style cutlery, and paper napkins didn’t really fit the restaurant’s vibe. Prices seemed about average, and parking was easy. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. The food was OK, I’ve had better. I probably won’t go again.
