We went to the Rückhertz in Schweinfurt for a crime dinner on Saturday November 18th, 2023. We paid €79 per person for the 3-course menu and the theater. The dinner cost around €32 per person. The first course was pumpkin soup in a tureen on the table. Taste OK, but unfortunately nothing more. Scooping out of the terrine didn't really remind me of dinner. Before the main course, a waitress came and said that the advertised butter spaetzle was out because the previous guests had probably put too much on their plates and so there weren't any left for around 20 people. In return we were given rice for our supposed loins. The meat was quite hard and was more reminiscent of a schnitzel. The food was simply placed on the plate very carelessly. The side of my plate was covered in sauce and rice and the appearance was beyond unappetizing. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm across the board. It was more reminiscent of cafeteria food than dinner in an upscale restaurant. The dessert was OK but nothing special. If you assume that the soup and the dessert cost an average of €6.50, that leaves €18 for the main course. It didn't do it justice at all. We are very disappointed with the evening and would advise everyone against it. I don't know whether there are double standards at Rückhertz, otherwise I can't understand the reviews.
