- waiting time to be served
- bread served was warmed but still half frozen in the middle
- entree served not consistent as some were larger portions than others
- steak served with cold French fries ( presentation was poor and overall tasteless - quite surprising that a hat chef would even use frozen McDonald’s type fries on a dish .
- steak sauce was a tiny amount on a pan on the plate and by tiny I mean around 2 tea spoons worth
- special order not met even though it was agreed prior to the date
- fresh fruit desert with gelato had 6 frozen blackberries and 2 frozen raspberries ( not what I consider fresh fruit )
- the fact we were only given the option of a $95 set menu ( extremely expensive for the quality of food served , we have noticed a few tables being served a la crate menu - the owner deny this while the floor manager and the actual guests confirmed
And the worst was by far the attitude of the owner who has come short from calling us liars and opted to respond in a rude manner to our feedback stating we were the only ones complaining , while I doubt this to be the case judging by some of the reviews I have read which fall online to our experience .
I don’t mind paying $95 for a meal ( without drinks) I just expect the quality to be at a level that warrants the price
We were a big group unfortunately as a result of this none will return .
Strongly advise owners to visit witchmount estate which is 5 mins away from Russo and compare the quality of food, prices and above all service
