What an amazing little gem! This snack bar/restaurant has everything you could want for an incredible meal. The service was so friendly, food absolutely delicious, and extensive and fun beverage menu. The carrot mocktail I tried was one of the best I’ve ever had! I came from Niagara and will make the drive again to try more dishes. Not to mention, the ambience in the dining room is insanely cute it made me want to redecorate my house lol - thanks for an awesome time! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I can’t say enough about this gem of a restaurant. From the time of making a reso the service was impeccable. They were so kind and accommodating to our two young children even though it’s a small space. The French toast is the best in the city and the Shakshouka with palenta was so tasty. You must dine here. It’s a full experience. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our fourth time at Simpl Things and it NEVER disappoints. Consistently good. We always go on sundays to make the most of the HALF OFF charcoal grilled snacks by Chef LU. The food and cocktails are one of our favourites in Toronto. We always get the Chaar Su, Miami Short Ribs, the chicken thigh, and the pork dumplings. These are all an 11/10. But my absolute favourite is the Chinese eggplant. Smoky, vinegary and full of goodness. The vibe is cozy and intimate yet lively. The hostess is a delight and makes super boujee and boozy cocktails. All in all we keep coming back for more. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
