Awful!. The turkey was so hard to chew everything was barely seasoned the rice tasted bland meat was bland and greasy no sauce on the rice at all. How does this place have good reviews. I recommend princess kitchen. 1 way better portions and better rice and I recommend calabar and grill the place has to be the worst tasting jollof and turkey I’ve had. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food was genuinely tasty and well prepared. However, the portion sizes were very small for the price, which affected the overall value. Hence the 4 stars, I hope they review their portions going forward. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+ Food: 4

Suya city express I really really wanted to like your food. But you disappointed me. I've had Nigerian food before and love the flavours and smoky crayfish scented dishes. New location of Suya city express on Weston. I pass by this place on my way to work daily. Today I finally had a chance to visit in person. My complaint ; The chicken was dry. Perhaps cooked then frozen. And warmed up for orders. The beef they use is a brisket cut for jollof. Also cooked till they are so dry. There's definitely no life to them. Perhaps multiple times warmed up and frozen. Again. Very dry. I found sand in the chicken gizzard dish. Also over cooked and very dry. My teeth hurts from chewing. Onions were good though. The only positive thing was that jollof rice. It was pleasant with smokey flavour and quite tasty. The prices here is quite high for the quality but I don't mind the price as long as I get what I paid for. Suya city express, please up your game and improve your cooking and serve fresh food. You are new to this neighborhood and we expect lot more from you. Lastly please turn down your music when customers are trying to place their order. It's weird when we all have to yell at each other's to communicate when the music is blasting. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Firstly, our meals are always cooked fresh daily and probably reheated for you to serve hot. Our meats and chicken are grilled dry, then marinated in a pepper sauce to recreate the popular nostalgic party meals in Nigeria. We do not typically serve stewed meat which soaks up in stew to make it moist. That is indeed another way people enjoy their beef or chicken but we only have that option in our beef/assorted stew popularly known as tomato stew or red stew by non Nigerians. Secondly, our prices are highly competitive especially with the rising cost of produce. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and would take note to reduce music volume while serving customers.
