Tried to order a sausage biscuit at the farmers market but they were out of biscuits. So I ordered the sausage on toast instead. Way too much butter on the toast. Fingers were covered in grease. For $8 it was not worth it. Service was quick though. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Tried this out today at the farmers market, got a sausage biscuit. It was really good! Seemed to have a lot of butter on the top though, and they were pretty slow, but it was still worth it, pretty good, I'll try to come back with my brothers Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

SYI Express Cafe serves a rotating menu of basics from a steamtable in a sort of "food hall" along with three other vendors. The food is good if occassionally too salty. They serve lunch M-F and breakfast on Saturday while the Farmers Market is on. As SYI relies on the nearby state office workers for their business they are NOT open on state holidays. I very much enjoy the peach cobbler for dessert. SYI is a good place to.get a quick and tasty lunch if you find yourself in downtown Baton Rouge. The atmosphere is utilitarian as this space is part of a state parking garage. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
