Great food BUT as some have already written: Why does one of the employees (the boss?) always behave so coldly and maliciously? You are admonished, almost shouted at, that it has been closed for 15 minutes and the lights have long since been turned off, the comment: "The opening times are outside", although this has not yet been updated (as of now) and even if it was, you can still do less to the customers point this out By the way, that doesn't apply to the super warm colleague who was also there! Unfortunately, I have to say that the service at Salädchen Freiburg has gotten worse over the past few months. A pity! The salad is still OK, even if it has become significantly more expensive. It's a shame about the service, because I've been a regular customer for years, even in Corona times and brought my own bowls to pick up. The service by the student employees is mostly very friendly, but the franchisee and head of the Freiburger Salädchen is increasingly taking some getting used to. Apparently I'm not the first to notice this. He comments in the other negative reviews below with "Thanks for the review, that helps us to improve". Please just do it and not just announce it! In a fast-food salad restaurant like the Salädchen, I don't expect the same service as in a normal restaurant, but I do expect a certain level of politeness. Even if his employees want to respond flexibly to the guest's wishes, they make disparaging comments in the background. One wonders why he is doing this. Maybe that's supposed to sound cool, but it certainly tends to scare customers away from the student audience. And students probably won't put up with everything either.
