I am leaving a 5 star review because the food to me is always exceptional! The service has always been great until recently these past couple times. I come to this location at least once a week. Recently the staff of young ladies seem very annoyed with customers and I have recently felt rushed every time I come here. Even the lady that I believe is a manager very pretty black lady by the way. Even she seems tired these days. She used to always have a smile and greet people. Now the younger girl especially the one with the different hair color thin eyebrows and heavy makeup. She seems to have no patience with customers when they are especially asking questions. I witness her being very short with an older gentleman asking what were different proteins. All while he seemed to have a good attitude and was just playing saying how he is not a fan of tofu. The hispanic thinner girl as well she just came up to the lady who had prepared my order for wraps told her to go help on the line. She basically moved her out the way while she was in the process of wrapping my warp. Now the older white lady she seems new and still getting used to things and I do see she is a little slower at preparing the bowl or wrap but she really was the only one in there being kind and actually acknowledging customers. She seems very kind and looks like she just needs a little more training from someone that is patient and can reassure her that she is doing great. Seems like everyone should lighten up a little and this place could be lovely like it once was. Basic customer service skills is what the team members are lacking. I’m not sure but reading the room it seems like there are entirely too many women in one work space and things are getting tense. My opinion though. Other than that the warps and salads are always delicious to me. Long time customer and Midlothian resident. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I drive and deliver with DoorDash from here. To the disabled Navy veteran wanting to cuss at the employees and accuse of racisms today, you were in the navy sir and just I was in the USMC. it sure did seem like you wanted to be entitled to not waiting like everybody else .. You should know as well as I do the terminology of hurry up and wait sailor. You were reported to the police. Staff handled situation beautifully customer was asked to leave politely I just put a pep in his step. Nothing’s ever that serious. Have a great day. 10/10 would recommend!! Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have encountered an issue several times at the Salata on Harvest Hill Drive in Midlothian, Texas. While being served, I am continuously told the words, "Portion Control" when I ask for a little bit more lettuce, olives, and beans. The tongs that are used at Salata only picks up about eight pieces of lettuce and a tablesoon of everything else. I only ask for a little bit more. If I ask for a little more, they use the words, "Portion Control." Sometimes they say the items that I am getting won't fit in the wrap I usually order, which ALWAYS does. I do not get alot of the vegetables and fruit that is offered. Nor do I get any proteins or extras. I showed the employees the picture that is on the Salata website and app and I was told, "That's premade." The advertised wrap and my wrap are two totally different sizes, but customers are told, "Portion control." This is the ONLY Salata that gives customers this issue. Meal type: Dinner Service: 1
