I had an incredibly disappointing and concerning experience at this Salata location on Sunday, June 21, around 3:30 PM. While ordering a salad wrap, the employee preparing my food, Lucy( what her name tag read), pulled out a visibly dirty tray with leftover food on it to fold the wrap. When I politely asked if the tray was clean, Lucy gave me an aggressive, unpleasant stare. After a long pause, she dismissively said, "This is the tray we fold all our wraps on." To make matters worse, a coworker then brought over a plate with a visible puddle of water on it for my food. When I pointed this out, Lucy smirked, took a wet towel that had been sitting out on the line, and simply wiped down the dirty tray before placing my heated wrap on it. While the male coworker tried to intervene and help by sliding over a clean tray and plate, the damage was already done. I was in a rush for a Father's Day movie date with my Dad and hadn't eaten all day, so I felt forced to take the food. I have been incredibly sick for the past two days with food poisoning symptoms directly following this meal. The complete lack of food safety protocols, combined with Lucy's hostile attitude when basic hygiene was questioned, is unacceptable. I will not be returning and will be reporting this location to the local health department. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Dietary restrictions: Great for vegan, vegetarians, and those who are gluten-free or lactose intolerant.

My first time trying Salata and I fell in love!! They have a great selection of veggies, meats, greens, and all the toppings! Everything tasted fresh and the customer service here is awesome! Both ladies that helped us are soooo sweet and friendly!! Meal type: Dinner Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

To the manager I just met at this location: You have the most exceptional staff. I have worked in the restaurant industry and is very difficult to find great staff! I am currently an administrator, Manager, And I can also share with you it's very difficult to find great staff! I live right around the corner in The Woodlands and every single time I come here I get exceptional service. It is always clean, always fresh, But it is the ladies that work here that make it great. The best customer service. They genuinely care about what they do. I hope you can see that as a manager and I also Hope that you merit them accordingly! They are gold!
