This is not the first time I have had lunch here. The restaurant is lovely and light with high ceilings with inside and outside dining options. The menu is interesting with a set menu consisting of a salad option, vegetable option and a meat option designed to share. To be honest there was not really a salad or vegetable option which interested me but the meat dishes all sounded lovely. We settled for pizza which had beautiful thin crispy bases and fabulous toppings. Main issue was the were not enough staff and they were run off their feet. Meal took 40 minutes and we only had one drink as no one returned or checked if we wanted anything else. This was happening on many tables which is a shame.

Disappointed yesterday with our experience.
Restaurant was really more of a cafe, serving average fare at inflated prices.
Service and ambience was way below par for the price ticket& hard to justify the drive.
Hope the wines are better !

Restaurant co located in the Saltram Winery. Good warm atmosphere inside, and outside tables for warmer weather. Friendly staff and prompt service for lunch. You must try the rye bread and dukkah. They do charge for it but it's worth it.
Good porterhouse steak though not as charred as some places. Excellent cracked kipfler potatoes with sauce. Attractive tasty selection of mousse for dessert.
