In a pinch, Sam So can satisfy one’s dire need for jjanjang myun. The tang sooyook is also very good. Crispy, chewy, and actually meaty. It’s just too too bad that the noodles themselves are dreadful. No chewiness or stretch. Falls apart with one pull. Oh, how I wish one Korean place in Paris would take advantage of the beautiful grains here and make their noodles, in-house. That would make the jjajang myun at Sam So truly great. The jjajang sauce is delicious and reminds me of Korea. But the star of jjajang myun is the noodle and theirs is definitely not great. The tang sooyook is what will bring me back. Maybe I’ll ask for the jjajang to be put over rice. The service was wonderful and they have AC. I’m definitely going back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch
