Used to use lovely fresh bakery bread cut for each order, but now its supermarket sliced loaves which is disappointing. Lots of fillings listed on the board, but not all available - appreciate its a challenge to know what you will/won't sell but unfortunately its not the experience it used to be Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3

The main point is that the sandwiches I've had (3) have all been good and if I need lunch and am close, I'll go back. The sandwiches are good but not mind-bendingly so. I've had mind bending sandwiches that I remember every bite of. These aren't that but they are fine for lunch if you're around the area. Nothing is bad about Sam Widges at all but there is no atmosphere to speak or when you go in (one of the criteria Google asks you to review). It just feels as it should; a place where you wait for someone to make you a sandwich. The photos on the wall of how Calne used to look are interesting.
