The salsa is amazing and complemented by good, crispy chips. I got the mesquite chicken and sour cream enchiladas and the flavors were great. Not crazy about their rice but I filled up on the chips and enchiladas anyways definitely will be back again! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Extra Chips & Salsa, Smoked Chicken Enchiladas with Goat Cheese

The wife and I were house sitting over the holidays on Bainbridge Island. We found a place we never tried. San Carlos Restaurant. I have to say that the food there was so good that I had to call my mom and tell her. Up until this point in life, my family made the best Hispanic food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I was even blown away at the homemade refried beans. Wow, better than my mom's?! The main courses came and did not displease us. Everything on my plate had it's own very distinct flavor. If you've had crappy Hispanic food then you know all of the food on the plate probably tasted about the same. NOT THE CASE HERE. I was blown away. The Prawn kabobs surprised me too. I did not expect such flavor. The steak in my burrito was grilled perfectly and fell apart in my mouth as if blessed by the cooking gods themselves. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and very attentive with us. We will certainly be coming back.
