Finally Friday!!! I was craving a sandwich and came here. I tried their Criss Angel Believe Sandwich, and it was awesome! It was just a pastrami sandwich but I wanted it on sourdough bread. It sucked that they were out of provolone cheese, but having it with Swiss cheese worked just fine. The vibe was chill, and the staff were super friendly.

If you are accustomed to sandwich spot in the bay area, don't go here. Sandwich spot used to be a regular lunch place for us when we lived in redwood city. They don't have any of the cool or unusual sandwiches that they have in the bay area. It seems like just a regular sandwich shop. However, I was craving their bomb sauce so I ordered a sandwich from them today. I was shocked by a few things. 1. The bomb sauce is not even the same as bay area locations (or maybe they just gave me the wrong sauce). 2. The bread is not the same. 3. They don't toast the bread even though I selected the option for heated. Instead, they took the sandwich filings and MICROWAVED them until the cheese melted into a liquid puddle and the lettuce was black and wilted and the onions were semi-translucent and then dumped it on untoasted bread. 4. Bacon was microwaved as well, not crisp. A $15 waste of money that has no relationship to the sandwich spot name. Hands down the worst sandwich I've ever had.

Hi Kelly, we apologize for your experience and thank for letting us know. Anyway may I know what kind of sandwich you have ordered? Walk in or online order so I can pull up your ordered to find out what was going on? also we can give you the refund or credit back. Pls let me know. Something I want to you to be aware, all the sandwich spot have the same signature sandwich just different name. And the bread and sauce also the same but it may test/the way we made a little different depends on areas. Also the bread always got toasted and we were surprised when you said we didn’t toasted the bread. All in all still want to say thank you and hope to hear from you as soon as possible.
