Extremely disappointed and frustrated with our experience ordering Daal Tadka from Sanjhi Rasoi. The food quality was completely unacceptable. The daal was clearly undercooked, with the water and lentils separated, and raw onions visibly floating in it. It looked poorly prepared, tasted terrible, and was absolutely not something that should be served to customers. What made this experience even worse was the restaurant’s terrible customer service. We live in Brampton, quite far from the restaurant, and we had ordered this food for a gathering at our home with guests present. When we called to report the issue, instead of apologizing or offering any reasonable solution, they simply told us to drive all the way back and show them the food. This was completely unreasonable, especially while hosting a party and after receiving such poor-quality food. It was embarrassing and upsetting to serve this food to our guests, and the restaurant showed no responsibility or concern for customer satisfaction. Both the food quality and the customer service were extremely disappointing. This was a waste of money and a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend Sanjhi Rasoi to anyone unless they improve both their food standards and how they treat their customers. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$50–60

Amazing experience at Sanjhi Rasoi! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. Every dish tasted fresh and homemade, and the quality was excellent. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and provided great service throughout our visit. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable atmosphere. If you’re looking for tasty Indian food and a great dining experience, Sanjhi Rasoi is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended, and I look forward to coming back again! I just bought pakoras from this restaurant. They told me the pakoras were freshly made and asked us to wait for 25 minutes, saying they were frying them in fresh oil. However, after waiting so long, they served us microwaved pakoras instead of fresh ones. The taste was very poor and it completely ruined my day. Even after paying a good amount of money, we did not receive fresh food or proper service. This kind of misleading behavior is very disappointing and unacceptable. Please be careful before ordering from here, as this kind of service damages the reputation of Indian restaurants here. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.
