Our group arrived early, before 7am, and waited an hour for the cook to arrive to work to cook any food at all. The hostess/ waitress was very accommodating. We should have gotten complementary coffee or something for waiting so long.

They offer a small table in the back (party of 6-8 people) and give cheese tasting along with a menu. This gives you a chance to taste the variety of cheeses across the board. Great experience to share with friends.

I'm always up for trying artisan cheeses and wine, so Scardello has been on my wish list for a while. I finally had the opportunity to go for the wine and cheese tasting on Saturday, which they hold every weekend from 3-5. At $10/person, it's a great value and a fun experience. There are four wines paired with cheeses from the shop. The staff is helpful and knowledgable, and so we learned about the wine and cheeses right before trying each one. I didn't get to try anything else while there, but I definitely look forward to next time.
