Nice, quaint restaurant. You can park in front of the door. The menu, which is online, is current. We had a reservation for 7 p.m. The restaurant was almost full. We were turned on by the rump steak, unfortunately it was out that evening of all days. The very friendly waitress spoke briefly to the chef and he made us beef fillet instead for the price of the rump steak. I had the beef fillet with fries and a small salad plate beforehand. My girl had the beef fillet on the bread base and a flatbread soup first. The salad and soup arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. The soup was hot and tasted very good. Another 5 minutes later the steaks were served. The fries came extra and were kept warm on a hot plate. My first bite was raw, the rest of the meat was medium raw, on point. No complaints whatsoever. My girl's meat was also medium rare. The bread base was crispy, as were the fries. Even though we were full, we decided to have a dessert from the special dessert menu. I chose a Coup Denmark and my girl wanted one with chocolate ice cream, which was served that way. Both were very good. The ice cream was high quality and there were chocolate pieces in the chocolate ice cream. There is a star deduction for the ambience because the interior is already very old. A cushion would have been nice on the chairs. The toilets are on the same floor, through 2 doors. There was even a baby changing table with a variety of diapers. The toilet was clean and smelled pleasant. Both waitresses were very friendly, courteous and on the ball. Overall the visit was very positive. We'd love to come back. Kid-friendliness: There were boxes of children's toys under the counter. Children are very welcome. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
