I've been to Screen Door Pearl District for both brunch and dinner - both menu were great, the staff was attentive without overbearing, and the prices were reasonable. For the most recent dinner, we ordered: * Sauvie Island Greens salad - it had the right amount of dressing and the seasonal beets w/streaks of purple were so pretty. * Fried chicken with sweet potato waffle. Good thing we asked the waitress about the size of the fried chicken as it was quite large. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a hint of spice to it. Yum! * Red snapper with clams and andouille sausage - This one was a hit too as I was curious as all the ingredients together. I would recommend an order of rice to soak up all of the white wine reduction. We look forward to visiting Screen Door the next time we visit Portland! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here for brunch with a group of 10, including several kids, and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with beautiful décor that feels modern, bright, and inviting. It was a perfect spot for a family gathering. The service was friendly, attentive, and well organized. Even with our large group, the staff accommodated us very well and made sure everything arrived smoothly. The menu offers a good variety of options without being overwhelming. I ordered the Smoked Pork Eggs Benedict, which was hearty, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The kids’ menu also had a nice selection, making it easy to find something everyone enjoyed. Overall, this is a great brunch spot with a welcoming vibe, tasty food, and excellent service. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend it for both families and larger groups.
