Review of S’Dorf Stuebel - Dorlisheim This evening, we had the pleasure of dining at S’Dorf Stuebel, an Alsatian restaurant located in Dorlisheim, which immediately seduced us with its authentic and warm setting. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, with wood paneling and traditional touches that create a cozy atmosphere, ideal for a relaxed meal. We started our dinner with a Gewurztraminer, a dry and fruity white wine with slightly spicy aromas, which perfectly whet the appetite and went well with our starters. I opted for the snail puff pastry, a dish generously composed of several snails wrapped in light, golden puff pastry. The cream sauce, sweet and creamy, provided a delicate richness without masking the flavor of the snails, which were flavorful and perfectly cooked. A great start to a meal. For the main course, my companion chose the sea bream, an impeccably fresh fish. Its delicate and tender flesh was accompanied by a crushed (probably butternut), sweet and creamy, which brought a pleasant sweetness, perfectly complementary to the light taste of the fish. The garden vegetables provided a slight bitterness, creating a delicious contrast with the sweetness of the mashed one and highlighting the flavor of the fish. As for me, the veal steak was a real revelation. The meat, exceptionally tender, melted in the mouth and offered an impressive wealth of flavors. The fresh mushrooms accompanied the meat perfectly, with a subtle depth of flavor. The crushed, sweet and creamy, provided a nice contrast with the richness of the veal. The spaetzle, tender and lightly buttered, added a rustic touch and a pleasant texture, complementing the dish wonderfully. The quality of the products was undeniable: fresh, seasonal, and worked with finesse. The chef has managed to combine tradition and creativity, respecting the classics while adding a touch of subtle modernity. Each dish was perfectly balanced, with clean flavors and just-right seasonings. The service, for its part, was impeccable: professional, attentive and warm, the team made sure to make our experience even more pleasant, with discreet but careful attention. In summary, S’Dorf Stuebel in Dorlisheim is an essential address for those looking for refined and authentic Alsatian cuisine. The warm setting, the quality of the dishes and the attentive welcome make this restaurant an ideal place for a memorable evening. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely come back to discover other specialties. A big congratulations to the whole team! I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at "S'dorf Stuebel" and I must say it was a very good experience from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose professionalism and courtesy immediately highlighted the establishment. The restaurant has an ambiance that creates the perfect atmosphere for a meal with family, friends, or even a business lunch. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive. The dishes were served quickly and the plates were presented with great attention to detail. The cuisine at "S'dorf Stuebel" is excellent. The ingredients are fresh and quality.
