I came from Brighton to visit my siblings and choose to go eat at sea rock. I ordered a classic fish and chips and didn’t have any high expectations but after finishing everything I completely changed my mind. I am used to eating fish and chips as I live in Brighton but in my opinion I honestly believe the fish and chips at that shop are better than any other fish and chip shop in Brighton. Not only was the food delicious but the service was great aswell. I wasn’t sure how I would feel in a new area but the staff there made me feel as if I was at home. Overall I had a great experience and would seriously recommend to others to go and try it for the first time. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got my Order and The Chips were a Mix of Old Chips Probably from the afternoon and Some Freshly Cooked . Old Chips tasted stale and also The Curry sauce was nothing like a Chip Shop Sauce you could have cooked and indian curry dish . Phoned to complain and the Man just put the phone down on me .. no customer service skills at all. Rang again went to answering machine so I left a rude message . Phoned 3rd time women picked it up and tried to justify they use 2 different types of potato's which I believe is a JOKE. Zero Star and People Please Avoid this Chippy as they have no Manners at all. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Ashok, sorry you didn’t like our food, we had two different types of potatoes today you might got a few from the old batch mixed with the new season potatoes, they did taste different, our curry sauce is Irish curry sauce, which many if our customers love. We are glad that you have got your anger out of your system, you were swearing on the phone, left a rude voicemail as you confirmed, and when I spoken to you offered you something to make it up to you, you said nothing just wanted to swear. So here we are.

I dont know what recently happened, new management maybe? They used to have the best fish and chips, but it's not the same anymore. It's still good but not as good. Same with sausages - my husband loved them and last two orders the food was okay-ish. Also a shame that they don't do chicken burger anymore(replaced by chicken fillet burger - which is another change suggesting new management). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Hello, we are still the same management. Nothing really changes, same suppliers for the fish and chips, sausages, same way of cooking. The supplier has discounted the chicken burger we used to get, therefore, we can no longer sell it. If you have any problems with the food, please let us know directly, we will do our best to accommodate you.
