I think that I will be able to get a whole round of all restaurants in Robinsons Manila since I visit my son every weekend who is studying in Med school. My pitstop this week is Secret Recipe. I am very fond of pasta but this time I found a new addition to their menu which is Chicken Parmigiana. I decided to order this and amused myself at the ongoings at the mall while waiting for something like 15 min. for my order to arrive. Good thing I wasn’t so hungry or I’d hop to next restaurant. First of all, the chicken was already soggy from the sauce. The mozarella cheese was a small thin slice that you’d hardly notice it was there. The salad had a few pieces of lettuce with tiny slices of tomatoes which was very far from what was in the picture on the wall. Oh well, I should not compare because they have a disclaimer on their menu that the photos are for illustration purposes only. But I think that they should not mislead their customers. The salad in the picture on their wall has 5 pieces of cherry tomatoes and bigger portions of lettuce. Well, talk about truth in advertising. No wonder their 20 seater place had only us and two other customers. If there is one thing that I’d like to compliment are the courteous staff and the comfy red couch. I think that people go back to a restaurant not only for the good service that it offers but first and foremost the food.
