As a vegan for more than 20 years, I’m always excited to try plant-based restaurants. Unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Nachos. The tortilla chips tasted like standard store-bought chips, the buffalo sauce reminded me of a bottled brand I use at home, and the nacho cheese sauce had a strong mustard flavor that didn’t work for me. The restaurant has a relaxed, casual atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. I also noticed a neighboring table receive a banana dessert that appeared to be simply sliced bananas served on a paper plate, which reinforced my impression that the presentation was fairly basic. I’ve eaten at vegan restaurants throughout California and Arizona, and I tend to gravitate toward places with more creative recipes and thoughtful presentation. Based on this visit, I don’t think I’ll be returning, but others looking for simple, casual vegan comfort food may enjoy it. So glad I finally was able to eat here. As I've been forced into being a vegan (allergies are real) its been difficult finding places i can freely and comfortably enjoy the food without worrying I'd be triggering an allergy response. But Seed Shack and Gloria (our server) were amazing!! The food is so good my two children (under 10) loved the food and rated their experience a 1000% highest rating my picky eaters ever rated anything I definitely will be returning to enjoy more comfort food and bringing my kids with me! I've been trying to try this place for a few weeks now since I've arrived in the area. Finally made it and NOT WORTH IT. First off, reason I came here is because I'm vegetarian and gluten free.. The latter being an allergy. I saw good reviews online saying they pay attention to allergies, that is not the case. The waitress did not know anything about the menu items.. nothing about what might or might not have gluten. I ordered something basic so I could worry less, since none of my questions could be answered, and she made no effort to figure out the answers. The food was flavorless. I mean it, tasted like nothing. The place looks like they haven't reorganized since covid, like it's a pop up. You can see the lack of effort in this restaurant the moment you step in the door.
