Food is overrated and overpriced. Totally understand if the food quality match the prices tag but unfortunately not for me. Taste is subjective which is personally the fried rice is over portion which I get the sense why charges for that. The fried rice seafood that I ordered doesn't show seafood exactly. A small size shrimps and few tiny cut of squids. What a hype.. The prawn fritters that served was a bit of oily,yet..big portion doesn't guarantee a taste and the price. Last but not least, having a bru coffee and doesn't reflect the taste of brewed coffee at all. In the end when paying the bills,to my surprise I was charged with 2 cup of bru coffee which I have only 1. And the best part after paying and cashier given the receipt I realized that they charged me for extra one. And the cashier's face shown very awkward and even said 'Did you have the tarik?? ' I meant..what is this.. I get why people hype this places but nothing guarantee about the food and the prices tag given. Found this hidden gem by surprise. Didn't know such an amazing place hiding here. You can only get to the restaurant from the direction from KL to Karak. Ample of car parks. After parking hour vehicle, you will walk through a long bridge under the highway bridge (they call it bridge under the bridge). The bridge is well maintained, however, it is quite a distance and may not be so feasible for people on wheelchair or walking disability. Hopefully the restaurant will improve of this. Once you reach the restaurant, you will be surprised and impressed by how well it is. Such a serene place to enjoy delicious food with your family. Every corner of the restaurant is so well furnished and decorated. You can choose to sit outdoor to enjoy the gentle breeze and the sound of flowing water. Or Indoor under well ventilating fans. They even prepare VIP rooms for private dining or space for event. Staff are very friendly and professional. Special shout out to Kak Ila, who is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered some simple foods such as Chinese fried rice, Mee goreng, aglio olio, and chicken chop. The food presentation is attractive. The portion is really generous. For a small eater, one portion is sufficien for 2 persons. The Chinese fried rice is delicious. The flavour is just nice, not too salty, and the rice isn't soggy. The Mee goreng is delicious too. The chicken chop is crispy, but a little oily. And suggest to serve more sides with the chicken chop such as salad, fruit, because it only comes with chicken and some fries. The aglio olio is kinda normal though. The dessert is tasty and worth trying. Overall, for this price, for such food quality, ambience, and environment, this is a great place to recommend. Young kids can also play at the river nearby, the water is shallow and crystal clear. Where can you find such amazing place? Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 20–40

Had a lovely dinner at Seni Rimba Restaurant. This restaurant used to have a different name. They offer a good but limited choice of Western and Asian food. The portions were decent and filling. If i’m not mistaken, their dishes are MSG-free. Had the fish and chips, but it didn’t come with tartar sauce, which was a bit disappointing. The salted egg squid was okay, but the salted egg taste could be a bit stronger. The butter prawn was good, and the chicken cashew nuts with dried chillies was delicious and full of flavour. Their Rimba ice cream is a must try, its super delicious and a perfect way to end the meal The environment is very peaceful and calm, surrounded by nature, and there’s even a river nearby, which makes dining here extra relaxing. The place is clean and well maintained, with free parking available. Overall, a nice spot for a gathering dinner away from the city, especially if you enjoy nature Meal type: Dinner Price per person: RM 60–80 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
