Read up on the place and it has rave reviews, and I did see the pot was said to be small, but didn’t realize it was like the size of a larger cereal bowl. I asked a bunch of questions of our waiter, to which he just replied every time “yeah, that looks good”, so we over ordered on add-ins. Then when we got them, he said “that looks like a lot of stuff!”. both my bf and I looked at him dumbfounded. We took about 80% of our ingredients home.
The music was also HORRIBLE.
Like I said, the food was great! The experience is lacking however, especially if you’ve never done it before. I don’t know about any of the other wait staff, but our waiter treated us like we knew what we were doing when we told him right off the bat that we didn’t. He was extremely uninformative.
Will not be coming back here.
Anyone who wants to try hot pot, I would say try here, just be careful because it is expensive and don’t over order your ingredients and keep in mind that the pot is tiny. Hope my picture helps with size reference! (A normal sized 4 seater table)
