I've been wanting to try 818 Shanghai for a while! Finally made it out and it was dismal and way overpriced. Arriving on a Saturday morning, they had only 1 server working the entire restaurant. It wasn't busy but we did have to wait on him for everything. We ordered traditional Chinese dishes such as seafood pan fried noodles, sizzling beef platter, and dimsum such as sticky rice and fried lobster balls. Seafood pan fried noodles didn't have enough sauce. We had to ask for more. The presentation was also not pretty when it came out. The seafood in it though was delicious. I thought the shrimp, scallop and squid were excellent. The sizzling beef platter tasted like a regular pepper steak. It wasn't the traditional dish we were looking for and it also didn't come out sizzling. The sticky rice and lobster ball were only okay. Very expensive tab for very mediocre food. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

As we entered the restaurant. We were greeted , entertained right away with a smile all the food that we ordered was delicious . The best authentic Chinese food. Ever!!! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
