Comida china de calidad entre muchas opciones de este tipo de comida y por eso es preferible degustar en un lugar que vale la pena

@shanghaistreet.melb CBD Signature Xiao Long Bao Signature Fried Mini Pork Bun Pork Prawn Chilli Peanut Sesame Butter Sauce Wontons Crispy Whole Chicken Shanghai Street is a popular Chinese restaurant with three locations in Melbourne CBD. The menu features Jiangnan-style Xiaolongbao, dumplings, noodles and other signature home-cooked dishes and classic snacks. You can watch the staff hand making the dumplings in the front window. We visited the China Town location on Little Bourke Street, which will always have a line out the door. Not to worry, it does move fast and we were impressed by the staff efficiency, handing out menus and order forms whilst you wait. By the time you’re shown to a table, your food comes out quickly, ours within 10 minutes! Standouts were their signature dishes and must orders. The XiaoLongBao were generously sized, packed with meat and delicious soup. Sometimes I find them too “porky” but their flavour was perfect. The Signature Fried Mini Pork Buns were amazing, I’m thinking about them still today. The Pork Prawn Wontons were in a creamy, chilli sesame butter sauce - a new experience for me! The Crispy Whole Chicken, im not sure what I was expecting but I did expect a bigger portion? The skin was definitely crispy and it was super moist. Here you can order drinks or save a bit of cash and BYO wine like we did ($10 corkage), the delicious bottle of Winton Road Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 we got from @liquorland (gifted) went perfectly with our dinner. Easily some of the best dumplings I’ve had! We will be back to try more. 4.2/5 $$ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
