The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the owners are very friendly and efficient. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. We have been there three times and we have never been disappointed. As someone originally from Egypt now living in Vancouver, BC, I take my shawarma seriously—and this spot absolutely delivered. On my way back from Seattle, I decided to stop at The Shawarma Man, and I’m glad I did. The owner asked exactly how I like my chicken shawarma, and I told him: Arabic style—pickles only, extra toum (garlic sauce) on the side, plus a pomegranate molasses dip. He nailed it and even went above and beyond by giving me two garlic dips and the molasses. The chicken was perfectly marinated—juicy, flavorful, and authentic. He showed me different bread options, which I appreciated,I went for the big wrap optionnbecause that is the arabic style and made the wrap crispy just how I like it. I was about to grab a Coca-Cola but noticed they had Palestine Cola, so I went with that—great touch. Portion size was solid, flavors were on point, and to top it all off, he gave me a baklava on the house. That kind of hospitality really stands out.
