This is an Eritrean restaurant and bar (resto-bar). They might be the only Eritrean restaurant in Toronto! The food is typically spicy but you can ask for less spicy. This part of Bloor St and Ossington Ave has many Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants. They opened on 2026-08-19. I happened to walk by on opening day. There is modern lively Eritrean music playing in the background. They have live music on Fri and Sat evenings. The bar is very dark with some flashing lights. There is adequate indoor seating. There is a full-service bar with counter seating. One of their tables is lopsided. There is no free WiFi. The resto-bar is not wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. I stopped in here today with my girlfriend for lunch. I’ve never had Eritrean food before but I was curious. I think they’re in the midst of renovations, but I was told they’re open so we sat down and ate. The food was wonderful, the service was great and I hope to return soon! Lovely place.
