I shop at Hanson Shaw's because of their produce section and convivence of the location. Their sale prices are good, I mostly buy sale items only. I find prices are very high otherwise. It is exasperating when I try to shop for a sale item and the item is out of stock. The reason I started this review was because of the bakery. I just bought a bag of their cookies and pulled a long hair out of the bag, YUCK!! The worst was the bag of rolls I had grabbed and found a rodent had chewed thru the bag and had started in on a roll. No more Shaw's bakery for me! I also find the coupon system does not include everyone. There is no internet in the store to clip digital coupons, and how about the people that don't do "cell phone" shopping??? I was told I could go to customer service to get the sale price, who has that kind of time? What about the elderly that are on fixed income and don't use the internet? This is not right!

Please have your employees take their smoke breaks away from the vestibule. Nothing worse for an asthmatic then to have to breath in second hand smoke while entering and exiting your store. Two different employees were right outside the door upon entering. I gave one star so you would notice this review and do something about it. Thank you

Great store with a fantastic variety. We just moved into Hanson after 30-years in So. Weymouth with multiple supermarkets to choose from. My only wish is that they would add a coffee grinder as the the other markets offer when you purchase whole coffee beans. I typically now have to go shopping at Market Basket for this service which inevitably means I shopping there instead of Shaws when im out of coffee.
