Food was garbage. Whoever is in the kitchen obviously couldn’t graduate high school, let alone make a loaded fry or microwave a breakfast burrito correctly. If you are unable to count to ten, then you shouldn’t be making food for people. Plain and simple.

Stopped at another Sheetz and once again, they nailed it. The restrooms were spotless and had that same signature peach scent, with cranberry ice handsoap alongside the eucalyptus mint this time. It sounds like a small thing, but those details really stand out and make the whole stop feel a step above your typical gas station. The food counter staff all said hello when I walked in, which was unexpected but honestly really nice and welcoming. The peach scent was so noticeable it almost convinced me to grab a peach drink. I ended up going with a watermelon Sour Patch slushy instead, but I have to say, if that was the goal, it worked. It’s those little touches that keep me coming back whenever I’m travelling through the Midwest.
