Bought 4pint semi - skimmed milk on Monday 9th October showing a use by date of Oct 21st. By Sunday 15th the milk was broken & undrinkable, despite having been kept in the fridge. On returning the milk to the store the male Shell employee told me there was nothing he could do & that I would have to speak to the manager on Monday. I did this only to be met with the same response by the site manager & her manager. Unbelievable !!! It sounds pretty but it is surely wrong to display a "use by" date and then not honour it.
