Wide, open lanes at the pumps, but the bathrooms were sketchy. Both bathrooms smelled - obviously no one does the required maintenance of putting a cup of fresh water down the drain once a month or so Also, bathrooms were blocked off with out of order signs on them, but you are allowed to to use them if you ask. Will definitely use a different station next time.

Inhospitable. Had driven over 400 miles. Was totally exhausted. To be safe, I looked for a place to pull off, rest a bit, and saw the Shell station right off the Hwy-99 freeway. At almost age 72, and with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) I very much needed and asked permission at the Shell station to use their restroom and to park a ways off from customer view to take a 2 hour or less nap to be a refreshed driver. No empathy. Cold shoulder. I saw the nearby Valero across the way then, but had not been easily visible from the Hwy-99 freeway. The Valero counter attendant was kind, allowed use of a nice clean restroom, and offered an acceptable well-lit safer place to park to take a short nap before getting back on the freeway. The Shell station is not a place of choice return to, unless out of necessity.
