Arriving at approximately 11.15am ( Saturday January 13th ), this was to be our last dining experience in Sydney of a four-day visit.
The staff were attentive and patient as I caught up with a dear friend and introduced my 11-year-old granddaughter.
Only wanting a light meal we requested Croissants and a child’s burger for my granddaughter.
Where to begin ????
Croissants had obviously been heated in a microwave and were soft and rubbery. My filling of tomato, mushrooms and avocado was cold with the tomato obviously not ripe and the avocado mushy and watery.
My friends ham ,tomato and cheese croissants texture appeared the same with the thin single slice of ham obviously a Coles Deli purchase.
Just a sad looking ,lonely croissant on a large plate.
Lemon lime and bitters is not presented as a glass with ice and what appears as cordial and a can of lemonade !
The child’s burger was smaller than a” Slider” with the meat patty dry and tasteless. The chips were cold , funny tasting and inedible .
I am appalled at the lack of quality and presentation of the meals served by your café in such an iconic building as well as the exorbitant pricing for the said meals.
In my granddaughters’ own words, “ This is the worst meal we have had all week Gma” !
