We had lunch during the day when they open as a curry cafe called Hachiya. We were lucky that we were there early as it wasn't busy. The food was good and served quickly. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect form an izakaya run by one person. Hachiya Curry is a hidden gem tucked away about 12 mins walk from Shibuya Station and very close to Yoyogi Park! Note that during the day, this place is Hachiya Curry and after hours it becomes Shigure, a bar. Check ahead to make sure they’re open. The curry is absolutely phenomenal. The roux is rich and has notes of coffee. The vegetables are brilliant and seem like jewels. The owner is also so kind and accommodating. You must eat here if you come to Tokyo!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
