I'd never noticed this place before but I'm so happy we chanced it! I was unsure how much to order so we tried a few things which come out when they're ready, and then ordered some more! The duck bao was my favourite. The staff were friendly and as we went in a quieter day, had loads of time to chat about the Chinese Association and the community events they run. Lovely people and a great charity to support (with great food) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Dumpling, Siu Maai Steamed Pork Dumplings, Prawn Dumplings and Vegetarian Siu Mai

First, but not going to be the last, time eating here. Incredibly friendly and really good advice on dishes (tip, just ask Monica to feed you, it’s all good!). Mum’s beef shin with noodles is spectacular though. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have had a lovely lunch at Shimca Eco Cafe today. The food was delicious and fresh, as everything is cooked to order. Genuine Chinese food, tasted like the one we had in China. We had Har Gao and Char Siu Bao as starters and fried rice with shredded chicken and Cantonese roast duck with noodles. We were so carried away by the food that we did not take any photos :). Monica was very welcoming and friendly, and so was her colleague (sorry I can't remember her name). Very clean and Covid-19 safe. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
