I've been here twice now, great pub. Always a selection a regular's dogs to welcome you in the cosy bar, and nice courtyard to the back. Real ales are £4 a pint and soft drinks £2 a bottle. I tried one of the Gadd's beers when I first visited and it was a bit ropey, I noticed other customers drinking Timothy Taylor and it looked a much better pint and I stick to that now. They have 5 real ales, perhaps they need to reduce that to Timothy Taylor + 1 guest in Summer, maybe +2 guests in Winter? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £1–10

Back street pub with a great atmosphere and a good selection of beers , the pub has some great history and it's a great visit. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

We came to The Ship Inn yesterday for a Christmas Day drink and we was really disappointed by the service we had. We ordered a round of drinks, one which was completely flat. When we took it back to the bar, we was shot down by the bar staff as well as some of the customers sitting at the bar. It was really disappointing, especially as it was Christmas Day - there was really no need for that. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
