Quaint little “old school” shop in the heartlands that sold the most authentic Japanese home-cooked meals! The owner was very friendly and kind. The menu was written on the wall, easily translated by google translate. We ordered yaki udon, omurice, okonomiyaki and the yakiniku set for the 2 of us, ~¥3000 total. One of the best meals we had in Kobe, far more authentic and hearty than the city center. However, they allowed smoking inside the restaurant premises.
