So... my husband and I wanted to have a NICE dinner and chose Shogun Japanese Restaurant, as we have been there before. We went on a Saturday evening and when we arrived, it was starting to get really busy. We were seated quickly and ordered our drinks which came in a fashionable manner. We both ordered the Bento Box #1 but, our server only captured MY order and only asked ME if I wanted ginger dressing with my salad and as he was about to go...we asked him about my husband's salad and that's how we found out that he didn't put the order in for my husband's meal.Then, our fish came. Now, WHEN you look up the word "sashimi", it says "THINLY SLICED", this was far from being just that. Instead of having six pieces, if they had sliced it the RIGHT way, then you would have EASILY had 16-18 pieces. Then, when we were both in the middle of trying to eat our "sashimi", ANOTHER server; a girl, tried to set down our bento boxes ON TOP of our fish! AND almost had a hissy fit when I told her that she could put it on the side because I was about to eat my fish. She then told us that she'd be back with our tempura sauce and NEVER came back! We NEVER saw our server and I kept asking ANOTHER server for help with this, that and everything else. When we got our check, I gave the tip to THE OTHER SERVER.Hopefully, WHEN Shogun Japanese Restaurant reads this... I have a pointer for you...your employees should ALWAYS check on their customers, make sure that they have EVERYTHING they need, get their COMPLETE order. They need to cater to the customers because they are in a customer service field.
