We went for dinner for our Girls meet up and since everyone wanted to have Indian food we chose Shosha since we never had chance to visit the restaurant after it opened like few months ago.
I will start talking about the cocktails and OMG I was so amazed after trying Calcutta Paan Old Fashioned cocktail as recommended by the Bar tender. It was true flavor bomb, reminded us of that soothing flavor of Paan. My second favorite was Haldi Sour cocktail.
Trust me y'all Shosha's Bar is a hidden gem, their cocktails are so creative it was so refreshing to try something new instead of same classic cocktails. I am definitely coming back just for trying new summer cocktails at Shosha.
We ordered Hot and Sour soup tadka infused veg and chicken soup and it was flavorful, spicy and perfectly set the taste for our next course. Looking at their Instagram stories I was always tempted to try their Papdi Chaat with Savory Dahi Bhalla ice cream and we all were delighted with how beautiful the chaat was served as well as it tasted. We also tried the Paani puri with different kinds of water, it was okay but the way it is served it's such a treat to eyes. Recommended to try at least once. The Chutney dusted panner tikka was flavorful but a but dry to what I found.
Then in main course we ordered Butter Chicken, M4 which was Methi Malai Matar Makhan ( I liked the name of the dish ) and it was creamy and well balanced as Methi malai matar is supposed to be.
Their Butter chicken at Shosha restaurant is a creative version of traditional butter chicken, I wish they served it the traditional way but that's just me rest of my group found it nice and flavorful.
The breads or Naans are best at Shosha they have so many options and specially that Mirchi pyaaz ki roti didn't disappoint.
Lastly The dessert, everyone including me we liked the Rabri Faluda which was so beautifully presented and delicious too.
Overall I found that Shosha restaurant does serve Indian food that is true to authentic Indian taste and flavors but the way they present their dishes truly justifies the name that means show-off in Punjabi.
