Arrived at 4. We were the only people there. Seated promptly, nice waiter. Ordered calamari. Good, Marinara was excellent. Caprese salad. Was very bland. Ordered tortellini, tasteless and sauceless. Chewy. $28. My husband ordered the special Halibut, on mashed potatoes, carrots with a poblano sauce and crab meat. Very bland. I reached over for crab meat and it was ice cold. My husband had a few bites. Waiter was nice, he did make us feel rushed. No need because no one else was there. The most expensive thing on the menu was $50. Imagine our surprise when the bill arrived. The halibut was $70. Tab was $160 that’s fine dining prices in Springfield and this certainly was not. Disappointing because of all we had heard about the restaurant. One group came in, looked at the menu and left. Do not recommend. No atmosphere, no view, nothing special, and the food is far less than special.***I contacted Show Me Chuy before this review. My call was not returned*** Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Dietary restrictions: Didn’t see anything offered
