Great place for families, plenty of room for prams, good baby changing facilities, little shelf of books to borrow, room to run around outside, kids menu, highchairs, lovely staff, great food.

Arrived at cafe to check in our ticket which was obtained on-line. The receptionist was very pleasant and told us where to meet our guide, Deryk. We watched a short video about the Flaxmill before heading outside to look around the many buildings and listened to the very detailed history from Deryk. I was very impressed with his knowledge and he delivered it clearly in a friendly manner. The tour continued inside, which again was very interesting and informative. At the moment, there are no lifts, so you need to be fit enough to go up 3-4 flights of stairs. Overall, it was a very worthwhile visit. Visited on: Weekend Wait time: No wait Reservation recommended: Yes
