The food was wonderful. The fried oysters were outta this world! Especially, given happy hour the huge fried oysters were just $.95 a piece! I plowed a dozen. I would have given this place 5 stars, because the atmosphere was cool, but the waitress we had on the Wednesday night we were there was just plain awful. Just eye-rolling, downright rude af! She probably thought we were going to be cheap-azzes, since I was dressed kinda goth, instead of the RN,BSN, high earning nurse manager I am. I will go again, but I'll ask to be seated in the young guy's station.

My group was in town the week of August 16th through August 23rd. On August 22nd for our last dinner we chose to walk to the Original Shuckers Raw Bar since it was super close to Holiday Sands North. Our experience at Original Shuckers Raw Bar was the best we had all week. The service was fantastic and our waiter was super friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the grouper tacos they were fantastic. My Boyce had the blackened grouper he said it was delicious. Two of his daughters had cheeseburger and were so impressed how thick and juicy they were. His youngest got fried shrimp she ate it up in like a minute. My boyfriend as well got some oyster he said they were delicious. Everything was so tasty that the next day we had to have lunch before we flew out and they all chose to come back here. The food was delicious again. The service was fantastic!! A little hidden gem I recommend anyone to go to.

Best Fried shrimp Po'Bpy I've had since Slidell, LA in 1997. Only suggestion I had was to use remoulade sauce instead of tartar sauce, which is what I ordered. The bun was soft and the shrimp and sauce were PERFECT!
