A new Bourke Rd gem. We had a couple of pints across the road at the Palace Hotel. Didn’t feel like pub fare - thank heavens - because we stumbled upon Shuu. We went simple with chicken and pork katsu, fabulous! Looking forward to coming back and exploring further, especially the ramen. Go! We to support this one! Also… pricing is very good! Recommend. Had a lunch here and ordered Miso Ramen and Beef jjamppong ramen. One of them was cold and bland, the othe one was hot enough and tasty. Overall it was expensive $24 for a ramen Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Razem, Sorry to hear that you didn’t have the best experience, we will ensure it doesn’t happen again in the future.Regarding it being expensive,we don’t have any ramen dish that costs $24, our most expensive is our seafood which is $23. This price is just for the amount of seafood added and a necessary cost. The beef Jjamppong and Miso are both $18. Which is reasonable when you consider food costs at the moment, especially with the delivery prices increasing. Hope you visit again soon, have a great evening. Shuu team

I came here for ramen and was not disappointed. Friendly, welcoming staff and a relaxed atmosphere put me at ease. I had the Nagasaki Seafood Ramen, which was lovely. Would come here again. Recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
