Excellent food, really good service. My vegetarian wife picked this place out for a date night and loved it. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices. A couple nice draft beers available. Everything was amazing. Elegant. Thoughtful. The 4.9 is well deserved. We eat a lot of good food and have a high bar. All the meat and fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked and moist. Dpnt skip dessert. If you are texture sensitive some things were mashed and moist (kombocha squash salad) so be aware some things are. We loved it. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Vegetarian options: Also a couple seasonal vegan things

Siam Umami is such a charming neighborhood spot you must visit. Its small and intimate, maybe 9 tables and bar seats. Its a relaxing place for sure. They have a great list of cocktails, I started with the Sapphire of Siam which pairs perfectly with the Chor Muang [purple dumplings]. I cant wait to return to try other drinks on the menu. The food however, was definitely what we were here for - and we didnt leave disappointed. Luis, the owner, provided excellent service all evening and helped with recommendations. We got the Chor Muang, which are so soft and tasty, and their color match the exterior door. I can also recommend the brussel sprouts which had a very delicious Asian twist to them. I ordered the steak with coconut mash potatoes and veggies, a special of the day. The sauce is incredible, no notes. I left the plate spotless. However, the Khao Mok Gai was another standout dish we had. Its got a little heat, but its not overpowering and honestly, I found it refreshing and almost preferred over the steak. You cant go wrong with either dish, they're definitely worth it. I ended with Thai Tea After Dark cocktail and paired it with an ube custard chiffon cake. It was a sweet kiss at the end of a wonderful meal. Cannot wait to return and try the rest of their menu. Would highly recommend for a quiet date night to try something new, flavorful, and where you'll definitely leave happy. Would also recommend just to stop in to try a cocktail off their menu.
