The Peking duck pancake was delicious would have really liked the spring onion to be cut into smaller pieces .
The dim sum was ok, not my preference for a fine dining degustation.
The king prawns were delicious and the beef was good, no different to my local just a better quality meat. Same with the special fried rice.
The dessert was yummy and had so many layers of flavours.
The staff were just ok. The wine staff poured the wine without checking - and as this is by the glass I think a quick check in is important.
All in all a pleasant evening.
I do not think great value for money and would go to other restaurants before going back.

The first visit to SILKS at Crown Perth! We loved the atmosphere, staff politeness, their food quality sooo much. Especially, their pecking duck and fried prawn was AWESOME... I would like to eat them again before long. We are from Japan and the venue atmosphere was like Chinese restaurant in Tokyo, so we felt really familiar with it. Honestly, we prefer traditional Chinese food, and the tasting menue dessert was too western style for us. If there were sesame dumplings, that would be perfect. Haha In addition to that, we want more Chinese alcohol choices like Shaoxingjiu, Baijiu, etc. Anyway, this restaurant has become one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Perth and we will definitely visit again soon!!!
