Silver spoon is a neighborhood thai restaurant with some pretty good food. It isn't great thai food but it is fairly good and quick for takeout. If you go during lunch or off hours it's fast then as well. They are usually super busy during certain hours so they can be curt when you call up to place your order but I guess they have to move fast... My biggest complaint is that they have to put oyster sauce in most of their entrees and shimp paste in their curries so if you are allergic to shellfish you can't have much. They also don't mark which of their entrees they can do without oyster sauce so we can't order takeout because they don't have the patience to tell us which ones are available without. It would be easier if they would just mark them. I think for quality of food for the price I would give them 4 out of 5 stars but I went down one star because we can rarely order due to not knowing which can be done without oyster sauce and we sometimes get hung up on if we don't talk fast enough for the ordering process. If you have no food allergies, this place is much easier to deal with and for the price and location, it works pretty well.

Our family had excellent takeout from Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant this evening. Pad Thai and barbecue Chicken were very good, as were accompanying spring rolls and pot stickers. A little pricey perhaps, but generously portioned and all in all very good. We will return.
