Sion made the strongest impression with its service rather than its curry. The chef has a background in hotels, which is most evident in the way customers are greeted. Every customer is given proper attention when they enter and leave. The room also feels like a small hotel restaurant, tucked away slightly from the main street. It's not somewhere people would simply wander into, but the interior is well designed and has a certain presence. However, the prices are similar to those in a hotel. Curries starting at around 1,500 yen are not easily considered reasonable, and the evening prices are even higher. The beef curry itself was not as distinctive as expected. It was better than an ordinary chain curry restaurant, but not as good as a specialist spice curry shop. The beef was also firmer than I had hoped. The service was attentive, but the meal did not quite live up to expectations. It was a small, hotel-style curry restaurant where the service stayed in the memory longer than the curry itself. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
