They offered to find me an unmarinated ahi for a taco so that I could have a gluten free meal and I'm so glad they did because the fish was incredible. I didn't care for the taco shell around it (I never really do) but the ingredients inside were such a good mixture of fresh, mildly spicy, and just melt-in-your -mouth fish. Super large portion and very filling. The fish was lightly seared and honestly was like butter.

We found this little hidden gem on our vacay to Kauai. It is very close to the Aston Islander where we are staying. My wife loves Korean bbq so we had to try it out. After seeing the pics on yelp of the fish tacos I had to try them, even tho I not a huge fish fan. Several of the guests at our condo said they were the best they have ever had. My wife loved it so much we ate there again the next night and she plans on going back on our last day for her last meal in Kauai. The Korean bbq chicken was awesome!! She got it with white rice and Mac salad. Of course extra bbq to put on the rice. I had to help her eat it, the portion size was so big. The chicken had an amazing flavor, the Mac salad was great!! I got a ahi (seared) and fried ono fish taco, the young lady at the counter helped with how I should have it cooked. The fried was the best, again I'm not a huge fish fan. The flavor was so good!! The next night I got the fried chicken tacos, they were so good!! And of course Tina got the Korean bbq chicken again. The first night we ate outside at one of the tables but there is inside seating as well. The second night we got it to go and ate on our balcony. I would definitely recommend the Sleeping giant grill!!! Food is amazing and the staff was super nice!!! Update: Saturday Dec 2nd...two broken hearted Kentuckians!! Headed to the Sleeping giant to eat our last meal in Kauai only to find them closed! Such a sad day!! Be sure to check hours of operation before more hearts get broken. :((

My favorite! I eat there at least twice a week. The food is fabulous and the staff is great.
