Apparently, getting someone to take your order at Kingship Coffee Mascot is now an endurance challenge. I’ve been coming here regularly for the past 5 weeks and, to be fair, it’s been great… Which makes this morning’s experience even more disappointing. I came in, was given water and a menu, and was told someone would come back to take my order. Great. So I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. 30+ minutes later still nothing. During this time, staff were happily taking orders from everyone around me. I even raised my hand several times to get someone’s attention … literally like a student in a classroom waiting to be picked.. but apparently I was invisible. At this point, I figured maybe the next step was submitting a formal application to get a coffee. So I got up and left and went to another cafe. I completely understand that places get busy, but being ignored for over 25 minutes while watching other customers get served is honestly ridiculous. The bare minimum would have been someone acknowledging me and saying, “Sorry, we’ll be with you shortly.” Instead, absolutely nothing. It’s a shame because I’ve been a regular customer for 5 weeks and have genuinely had great experiences until today. But if this is how customers are treated, I’m not sure what the point is. Thanks for the water and the menu, I guess. At least those were delivered successfully. Very disappointing. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
